We just returned from Weshoekie this past weekend (July 4th) and we were very happy with our stay. We stayed Friday-Sunday and the house was very clean, well stocked with everything that you could imagine. They had beach towels in a bin available, the kitchen had tons of utensils, pots, pans bakeware etc. In addition; a fully stocked cabinet with all the dishes you could need. There were board games available, bunk beds on the lower level. The main bed was so comfortable. I love the extra Keurig setup in the main bedroom as well. The access to both pools was nice and the lazy river. The restaurant had delicious food and the bar that overlooks the beach is a nice touch! We would definitely stay again!
We had an amazing stay at Weshoekie—it’s perfect for families with young children. The location is just a short stroll to the beach and our kids loved all the provided toys. The house is spacious, clean, and kid-friendly, with plenty of room for the little ones to play safely. Margaret was friendly and very attentive, responding quickly to any questions I had. We felt right at home and will definitely be returning for more family beach vacations!
This beautiful home is clean, inviting, and well-stocked. The house is bright and beachy and looks even more attractive than pictured. The beds are very comfortable, and we appreciated the outdoor spaces with their various seating options. I especially loved the upper balcony where I could enjoy the beach view, a cup of coffee, and a good book. We took advantage of the proximity to the beach and enjoyed walking the beach a couple of times each day. Upon returning to the house, the outdoor shower made it easy to clean our own feet and our dog's! We enjoy exploring new places and found the Bishop's Palace to be our favorite Galveston tour during our weekend stay. PattyCakes bakery is a few blocks from the Bishop's Palace and has delicious treats. I highly recommend Weshoekie. The home exceeded my expectations, and the property manager communicated quickly and well.
Our family of 7 (parents with 3 young children and grandparents) just returned from a weekend at Pointe West. We were very pleased with Weshoekie. The home was exceptionally clean and organized. Everyone shown in the pictures was accurate. It is located in a great location close to beach access. The home has everything you need for a weekend at the coast, including a beach wagon, chairs, and children's beach toys. The owner/manager was quick to answer our questions. We will definitely stay again.
